Steve and I have been friends for years. I remember him when he was a promotion man for Scepter Records in New York. I think it’s just great how his own recording of “The Way You Look Tonight” in the movie “Father Of The Bride” jumpstarted his career as a singer. How lucky for the rest of us. We get to hear his unique soulful voice all through the Great American Songbook and others as well.
